Curbside Resume Drop-Off on Thursday for Restaurant Jobs

This week on Thursday, March 4 from 12 noon to 2 pm, Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! will be collecting resumes to distribute to 60 restaurants across the region. Anyone interested in participating can drop off their resume “curbside” at the service center in Alma, Bay City, Midland, Mt. Pleasant, or Saginaw.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment that allows you to apply to multiple locations at one time.

When you pull up on Thursday, Michigan Works! staff will collect your resume and provide you with a list of restaurants that are hiring and what positions they are hiring for. You will be asked to check off which restaurants you want your resume to be delivered to.

Drop Box

If you are unable to drop off your resume on Thursdays from 12 noon-2pm, you can still drop off a copy at any Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! Service Center and use the drop box in the entryway.
If your resume isn’t quite where it needs to be, Great Lakes Bay Michigan Work! can help in one of three ways:

  1. Visit michiganworks.com to view a resume writing webinar.
  2. Call your nearest service center for a virtual meeting with an employment specialist.
  3. Call for a face-to-face appointment:

Saginaw:  989-752-3145
Bay City:  989-667-0500
Mt. Pleasant:  989-772-5304
Alma:  989-466-4832
Midland:  989-631-3073

Thursday’s “curbside” resume drop-off event is a creative solution to help meet the needs of job seekers and employers during a time when COVID-19 restrictions impact capacity at both Michigan Works! service centers and restaurants.
