“Skills gap” is one of the most common buzz phrases in the talent development industry.
WHY?
Our labor force cannot satisfy immediate or near term hiring demand in “skills
gap” occupations (which are continuously moving targets).
Customized, apprentice-like training programs that help employers grow their own workforce are becoming critical.
We need to CHANGE THE CONVERSATION...moving beyond buzzwords to a deeper discussion about what to do.
