  2. Click on “Create an account”
  3. Choose “Job seeker”
  4. Complete profile
     • Sign privacy and terms of use statement
     • Complete contact information, account password, and security questions
     • Fill out employment information (refer to your resume)
  5. Remember to log-in every 30 days to keep your resume open and active with employers!
     • Click on Sign in
     • Enter your email address
     • Click in the password box
     • Enter your 8-digit password
     • Click on Sign In

After you file a claim with UIA, you must register in person at a Michigan Works! service center

While you’re there, you can:

• Use office resources for job search purposes: computer, phone, fax, copier
• Search for jobs on the internet
• Create or update your resume
• Attend single company job fairs

When you visit you will need:

• Photo ID showing date of birth
• Social security number
• Current resume
• Job and education history
• Documentation of Veteran status/DD-214 with dates of service (if applicable)
